Bread
I like to take part of the dough and make kifle out of it. I brush them with an egg before i put them in the oven.
Ingredients
- 50 g fresh yeast
- 5 dl lukewarm water
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. sunflower oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 850 g all purpose flour
How to
In a bowl stir the yeast in lukewarm water. Add the olive oil, the sunflower oil, the salt and the sugar and mix it well. Now add all of the flour at once and mix it thorougly. The dough is soft and sticky. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 min. - 1 hour.
Turn onto af floured surface. Divide the dough if you want two loafs of bread, og let it be as is if you want one big loaf of bread. Shape as wanted, I prefer round bread, because it is easier to shape. Put on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Cover again and let rise until doubled, about 30-45 min.
Bake at 220C for 35-40 min or until golden brown.
